Enquiries for supervisory and management personnel who understand the work, the programme and the people on site.
THE WORK
THE BRIEF
Define the responsibility before the job title. A working supervisor, site manager and firestopping manager may need very different experience. Explain the scope, team and expected decisions so we can discuss personnel against the actual role.
Placements across the UK are discussed against your site postcode, shift times, travel arrangements and duration. Short-notice enquiries are welcome; starts are always subject to suitability, availability and agreed terms.
UK coverage and London enquiries ↗PLANNING THE PLACEMENT
Examples of requirements to discuss. The scope, proposed person and availability are confirmed for your enquiry.
Explain the decisions the role needs to make, the team size, reporting lines and the length of cover.
For firestopping or another specialist package, define the systems experience, coordination duties and documentation involved.
ASK US TO CONFIRM
Ask what relevant management experience and training can be confirmed for the role. Specify SSSTS, SMSTS or other requirements rather than assuming a job title proves suitability.
AGREE THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Agree authority and responsibilities with the contractor. A placement does not transfer statutory or contractual project duties by default.
SERVICE QUESTIONS
Yes. Include the required training and relevant work experience in your enquiry. We will discuss suitability and availability for that brief.
State the split between hands-on duties and supervision so that expectations are clear before any placement is agreed.
LET’S GET TO WORK
Tell us about your next shift or work package. Short-notice starts are subject to suitability, availability and agreed terms.
BEFORE THE FIRST SHIFT
We check every operative’s right to work before placement and confirm cards relevant to the role.
